Ally Summer Internship 2022

During my time with the Creative Services team at Ally Financial's in-house design agency, I had my first go at UX design. It was a learning journey that took place over the summer, and I gained a lot from it. As a member of the team, my role was to design digital marketing assets. I worked on various tasks, such as creating banners, designing T-shirts, and putting together email campaigns. I was always eager to take on new challenges.

Throughout the internship, I gained essential skills, such as ensuring accessibility and adhering to brand guidelines, while also refining my ability to collaborate closely with the marketing team. This experience deepened my understanding of Ally Financial and its creative landscape. A personal highlight of my internship was the opportunity to work on social media recruitment ads, where I had the creative freedom to both write compelling content and design it from start to finish, which I found incredibly rewarding

My time at Ally served as a pivotal learning experience, equipping me with valuable skills and nurturing my appreciation for the vital role of UX design in shaping a brand's identity and impact.
